The Product Program Manager for Music Services and Software plays an integral role as the owner of the cross-functional planning, execution and delivery of these Sonos and Music Service releases. You will be working on multiple projects simultaneously with team members from the Sonos team in Product Management, Product Development, Quality, Customer Support, Marketing and IT as well as with the Music Service partners.</p>
<p><strong>Detailed responsibilities</strong></p>

<p>As a key member of the Sonos European management team, the EMEA Financial Planning and Analysis Director will lead the EMEA planning and analysis team. <p>The newly created role of EMEA Financial Controller is a key position to continue to build out the Finance function at Sonos.  The role will have EMEA responsibility for a variety of essential financial capabilities such as: financial organizational design, accounting and reporting, cash conversion cycle, treasury operations, ERP design input, and responsibility for supporting new business expansion in the EMEA region.  This position will play an empowered leadership and business partnership role in the key area of converting customer orders into cash to be reinvested into the business.  <br />This position reports to the Vice President of Financial Operations based in the US.  Immediate direct reports will include the Manager of EMEA Accounting, but this will evolve as with the high growth in the region and the ongoing development of finance capabilities in the region.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<li>Assess capabilities for short term priorities and resource planning.</li>
<li>Create vision for the organization including strategy and longer term roadmap of value-add capability needs and resources required to deliver them.  This will include human resource planning as well as an assessment of systems and financial tool requirements. </li>
<li>Accounting and controls:

<li>Working with Corporate Finance, setting financial policies – ensure they are current and relevant to the business.</li>
<li>Direct EMEA monthly financial close operations with specific goal of reducing the time to close and report the financial results.</li>
<li>Annual audit and overall relationship management with independent auditors to drive completion of corporate and statutory audits.  Goal is to have a swift and efficient audit process with limited disruption to the finance operations.  Although the company is private, all accounting and reporting is done in accordance with US GAAP.</li>

<li>Tax related:

<li>Ensure all country tax returns are completed accurately and timely.</li>
<li>Ensure VAT reporting and filings are completed accurately and timely.</li>

<li>Inventory conscience of the EMEA region:

<li>Inventory accounting – ensure that Sonos’ accounting practices for inventory are accurate and in accordance with GAAP.</li>
<li>Establish a set of inventory reports / tracking / forecasting that is fully aligned with manufacturing and logistics. Work with these partners to implement weekly inventory reports and demand forecasts.</li>
<li>Establish a disciplined weekly rhythm of inventory reporting to ensure we have one synchronized inventory report, with knowledge of what is in transit, at port, at distribution centers, etc.</li>
<li>Working closely with retail partners and analyzing sales data to be proactive to identify potential slow moving inventories, markdowns, and marketing program lifts. </li>

<li>Own Sonos’ EMEA cash conversion cycle: 
<ul>
<li>Set and drive the cash conversion strategy.  Create vision and implement policies, systems and processes to achieve a high velocity world-class cash cycle.</li>
<li>DSO – design and manage reporting to highlight problem accounts and enforce contracted payment terms.  Partner with sales team to resolve past due accounts. </li>
<li>DSO – (re)negotiate payment terms for re-sellers / distributors to align payment terms with underlying sales turnover cycles and Sonos business goals.</li>
<li>DPO – set a strategy to optimize our accounts payables, (re)negotiating terms with key vendors. </li>

This highly visible position will facilitate, manage and execute strategic commodity management initiatives required to achieve the Company objectives.<br /><br />As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans for speaker transducer, developing and maintaining material cost reduction plans, supplier selection, and all aspects of our relationships with assigned preferred and strategic suppliers. In addition you will be responsible for developing strategic roadmaps with these suppliers in support of our future business and development needs. These responsibilities will include areas demanding close contact with industry trends, our development community, and others within the organization. </p>

<li>Development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans for speaker transducer. </li>
<li>Developing strategic roadmaps with these suppliers in support of company's future business needs. Manage supplier business reviews and other   communications, ensure suppliers capabilities are leveraged and supported for the company's strategic alignment.</li>

<p><strong>Transducer Development and Qualification</strong></p>

<li>Collaborate with PD on defining and documenting the transducer specification and qualification plan. </li>
<li>Lead the communication between Sonos and our supplier and resolution of quality related issues. </li>
<li>Ensure supplier build schedule and overall readiness conform to product development & release schedule. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Supply Base Management & Development</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Development, implementation and maintenance of material cost reduction plans. Managing suppliers and internal cross functional teams to achieve optimized material costs. </li>
<li>Supplier selection within a commodity/supply market, and all aspects of the relationships with assigned preferred and strategic suppliers. Ensure supplier selection process is implemented. </li>
<li>Evaluating, monitoring and maintenance of supplier performance levels to company requirement performance targets. Manage performance review systems and provide regular feedback to suppliers, manage overall corrective action plans. </li>
